Ingredients:

  • 680g of L.A. FARMS Angus Beef stew meat
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 cups L.A. FARMS Beef Bone Broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onions and minced garlic and sauté until they become soft and fragrant.
  2. Add the beef stew meat to the pot and cook until browned on all sides. This will add flavor to the stew.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste, cumin, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for a minute to allow the spices to release their aromas.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours. This slow cooking will help tenderize the meat.
  5. After the beef has cooked for a while, add the carrots and potatoes to the pot. Continue simmering for an additional 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Finally, add the frozen peas to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes until they are heated through.
  7. Taste the stew and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve the Halal beef stew hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy the warm and comforting flavors of this delicious Angus beef stew with your family and friends!
