Grass-Fed Angus Mince Meatballs with Linguine Pasta and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Meatballs:

500g L.A. FARMS Grass-Fed Angus Mince
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs 
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
L.A. FARMS Olive oil for frying

For the Tomato Sauce:
2 tablespoons L.A. FARMS Olive Oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
800g canned crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste

For Serving:
400g linguine pasta (ensure it is Halal-certified)
Fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the L.A. FARMS Grass-Fed Angus Mince, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut, and place them on a plate or tray.

In a large frying pan, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until they are browned on all sides and cooked through. Transfer the meatballs to a plate and set them aside.

In the same pan, add more olive oil if needed and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic for the tomato sauce until they become translucent and fragrant.

Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes and add dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

While the sauce simmers, cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Once the tomato sauce is ready, add the cooked meatballs to the sauce, and gently stir to coat the meatballs with the sauce.

To serve, place a portion of linguine pasta on a plate, top it with the meatballs and tomato sauce. Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
