INGREDIENTS
4 125g L.A. FARMS Free Range lamb burger patties
4 Seeded buns
Mediterranean or Italian salad leaves
2 cup grated cucumber (from about 1 medium 10-ounce cucumber, no need to peel or seed the cucumber first, grate on the large holes of your box grater)
1 and a 1/2 cups of plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh mint and dill
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 medium clove garlic, pressed or ground
1/2 a teaspoon of fine sea salt
Making Tzatziki
- Remove excess moisture from grated cucumber by squeezing in your palms over a bowl or sink.
- Add the yogurt, olive oil, mint, dill, lemon juice, garlic, and salt to the bowl, stir to blend. Rest for 5 min
- Whilst resting the tzatziki, grill/braai your lamb patties
- Toast buns
- Add tzatziki to the base of the bun, add salad leaves, place the burger patty on top and add additional Tzatziki on the patty. Place the top of the bun on top. – Ready to serve
